Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur own this beautiful, custom 3-bedroom/3bath-luxury vacation home called the Pole House and studio home called the Cane Cottage. This exclusive home sits on 5 lush acres of tropical landscaped grounds. We can reserve the entire property and grounds for a party of 2 on a romantic getaway or honeymoon, or we can accommodate a family of 10 celebrating an anniversary, family reunion, or wedding. You will love opening the gate and driving down the long Ti lined drive to this special private property just for your party. Once inside, past the electric gate, you will pass two groves of coconut trees and see in the distance the newly built cane cottage, all before you reach the main house.

The ocean view from the large lanai of the Pole House is down a splendid forested gorge. Music can be directed outside while you languish in the pool/spa surrounded by tropical gardens lit by Tiki torches. Try a game of croquet on the adjacent lawn, then perhaps a nap in the hammock under 2 of our more than 200 palms. Pick some ginger, protea or heliconias for your table. Add guavas, papaya and/or bananas, all just a few steps from the pool area. Take a minute to enjoy the art throughout the house created by island artists.

The main living area of the house is 10 feet up, supported by telephone poles (AKA Pole House) We offer two king master bedroom suites upstairs (one with its own lanai), The large living/dining space has a complete home entertainment center including Tivo and a video/DVD library with a comfortable sectional to curl up in and much more. The kitchen is like no other. The cabinets are solid Koa wood (now virtually unavailable), hand crafted by a local cabinet maker/artisan. The kitchen is completely equipped, down to a Cuisnart, sugar, flour and spices.

The bathroom cabinets are made of an exotic wood Purple Heart and the tile in the bath is hand painted by a woman we commissioned. Outdoors relax and dine in tropical solitude on the spacious Lanai. If you are suffering electronic withdrawal or have possible business distractions, we have broadband Internet with Wi/Fi, printer/scanner, fax and answering machine. Downstairs is a complete one-bedroom/one bath apartment (never rented separately) with two twins in the bedroom as well as a queen futon in the living room. There is a separate kitchen, Satellite TV/VCR and a private patio.

STUDIO - For those parties who need to have space for 10, we have a new charming Cane Cottage, at the other end of the property 400 feet from the house on its own driveway. We are finding, though, that grandparents and older parents love the chance to use this studio even if there are not 10 people. This choice can be made on arrival if you wish. Our caretakers live in the other section of the Cane Cottage. Our Maui Vacation Home sleeps 8 people. Including the Studio, the property accommodates a total of 10 guests.

Rates quoted in US Dollars. 13.42% HI state tax will be added to your room rate.

The nightly rate for 4 people is $425 a night. Each additional person is $30 per night up to a maximum of 8 people in the main house. A studio apartment sleeps an additional 2 people and is 400 feet from the main house. The combination of Studio and House will sleep 10. The Studio has a full bath, kitchenette, queen bed and a 25-inch TV. The rate for the Studio is $125 per night. There is a cleaning charge of $175 for the upper house only. The whole house is $250, and the house and studio is $325. We never rent the Studio separate from the house. We require a deposit of $650 at the time of your reservation. Thirty days before arrival we require a signed renters agreement, payment in full and a refundable security deposit of $1000.

To cancel reservation and receive a refund of the deposit, guest must submit request in writing via e-mail 30 days prior to scheduled check-in date.

If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, we will refund your balance only if the unit can be re-booked.

A 15% cancellation fee from deposit will apply.

Owner accepts personal check or money orders.
